Speaker: Laura Ritchie
Laura Ritchie is a serial entrepreneur -- journalist, publisher, ex-media company owner and ex-sales exec for NBC Sports, where she helped monetize sports publishers nationally. Today she runs Appleton Corporate Housing, which offers 74 mostly furnished rental units she handles for herself and immediate family members. She's expanded an initial investment of about $100,000 in 2015 into roughly $9 MM in property across northeast Wisconsin and Central America using just about every creative financing strategy imaginable. She's established an LLC with a mini portfolio to finance her parents' retirement and has started her daughter on rental properties of her own. At this moment she is working on closing an eight-unit three building condo property in north Appleton, finishing up multiple remodels in Appleton, Oshkosh and Berlin; and working on converting a 12,000 square foot church into a 20-unit apartment complex. She currently has a dedicated team who manages her units and reservations internally and has a beachfront condo in Belize ready for her to retire to in pursuit of living out those dreams!
