Jeff Smallowitz bio:

Consulting engineer with over 35 years of experience as a spacecraft structural analyst. Capabilities include linear and non-linear stress and dynamic analysis using both hand and computer methods, composite material design, and structural optimization. Proven ability to organize and lead large analysis teams. Strong preliminary design, proposal, technical sales, and negotiation skills. Expert witness experience.

Recent activities:

Currently the Spacecraft Structure and Mechanical lead on NASA's James Webb Space Telescope. Developed the structural test program and conducted many of the tests for NASA's LADEE spacecraft structures. Lead on the Airborne Laser Program for Northrop Grumman Space Technology. Lead structural analyst at SpaceX on Falcon 1.
