It's announcement time: Tucson, AZ now has its own regular monthly CashFlow board game meetup!
Not familiar with CashFlow? Picture a scaled down version of Monopoly (minus the anti-capitalist overtones) combined with the Game of Life, and that should give you a pretty good idea. As with Monopoly, players seek to earn income to purchase investment-grade assets in an attempt to earn enough Passive Income to escape the Rat Race. The game literally "trains your brain to see money" in everyday opportunities to purchase real estate, stocks and business opportunities.
Despite its daunting nature, once you get the hang of the Income Statement each player uses to keep score the game is a massive teaching tool for investors of all education levels. This is also a more informal meetup, better suited for general networking with other like-minded businesspeople and gain experience negotiating real estate transactions.
You can sign up for the in-person meetup here, via AZREIA's main website
If you would like to play the free, online version of the game, you can do so via the Rich Dad website.
As we do for our New Investor Meetups, we will be meeting at the Keller Williams Building near River/Campbell. It will likely take a few months to gain traction on the best day/time to host the meetup, the first iteration is scheduled for Saturday, May 13th from 10:00am-12:00pm. I will provide the game board, strategic insight and (probably) even a carafe of coffee if I plan ahead effectively.
Hope to have some solid local BP representation to help get this group off the ground. Spread the word!
