Please mark your calendars!!!!!! We will be having our next Monthly Meetup in 2 weeks, Friday, February 4th, from 5:30 PM (5:30 – 6 is social time) onwards at Hops and Hounds (inside room on the 1st floor, directly to the left of the entrance). We will be discussing another educational topic, Couples Partnership in Real Estate, presented by our very own, Dustin and Cat Blackmon!

We are Dustin and Cat Blackmon. We are both from the San Antonio area and are now living on the outskirts between San Antonio and New Braunfels. This is also where we concentrate our investing.
We have been married 10 years this year and have 2 amazing kiddos. We will be the first to admit that raising children, running a household, managing rentals, and maintaining our day jobs is quite the balancing act.
Dustin is a licensed Realtor who grew up around the industry as his father is a broker. Cat is a mortgage loan officer with 10+ years in the industry. Early on we realized how important home ownership was to us. A home base where rent didn’t fluctuate, and a lease could potentially not be renewed. And after selling that first home we then realized what power real estate has.
Currently we own long and short-term rentals. Our focus in 2022 is developing our raw land to our homestead. In the process of this development, we have gained experience in many facets of the building process including what it takes to maintain an agricultural exemption. In addition to managing our rentals we have embarked on beekeeping and now manage multiple beehives.
