Tenant with no SSN or US ID card
Tenant with no SSN or US ID card
I am renting my house in Union city, New Jersey and it’s difficult to find good tenants with credit and SSN. I have a potential tenant who is ready to put down deposit plus one month’s rent, however I am a little worried about the background. She seems to be a good woman with a nice family. Is there any database I can search to find more information and details on her tenancy? What would you recommend?

So basically she has nothing to lose if she screws you over. But she seems like a nice person. So do all scammers.
Potential bad tenant + NJ anti-landlord laws = Hard Pass. ALWAYS better to have no tenant than a bad tenant.
