How to perform a credit check of renter candidate?

Third post today!  Sorry, I am new at this and appreciate any insight someone can provide...

1) Do you normally do a credit check on potential tenants?

2) How do you do this; what is process to do the credit check??

1)  100% yes

2) We use our management software Appfolio but that doesn't help you I know.  Tons of threads can be found in the search.  Some use BP tool here.  Some use apartments.com or zillow.com or one of 100's of other places.  A quick google will turn up a bunch as well.  Or just read the reply to one of your other threads
