Do I need an LLC or should I wait

Hello, My name is Todd Lansden and I am new to the real estate world. I recently have bought 3 properties and was hoping I could get insight on the correct ways to go with them (I was brought here through the real estate books I've read in the past). My question is, with me having 3 properties (1 rent ready) would It be necessary for me to have an LLC or would it be smarter to wait until I add more properties under my belt? Adding to, would I be able to receive tax benefits through real estate without having an LLC?

Thank you all for your consideration and help! I pray everyone is blessed.

Not necessary but I prefer the mindset it gives me.

As an aspiring business owner I prefer having an established business entity, separate business checking/finances, business history.

When I give my tax info to my accountant at the end of the year everything reconciles to one account or one credit card.

Not that you couldn't keep track of all this information via other tools but I prefer it this way.
