Single fam investment Redding CT

Hi, I am thinking about purchasing a single family in Redding CT. I found a good one at a decent price and was planning to rent it for a few years before moving in. Any advice on what the rental market is like in Redding and whether that’s a smart choice in this hot market? My biggest fear is that we don’t rent it and I have to pay out of pocket for a few years while the house stays vacant. Thanks!
