I should pay for the repair or the landlord?

Posted

Hi! My laundry machine didn’t draining the water! Well I asked the landlord to come and check it! She sent her husband ( our landlord in the contract its only herself) to check the laundry machine, he came and checked and At the end he said you (means me) call a tech to come and fixed then transfer the bill to us! Well I did that and the tech came and drained the water with the draining machine and I paid the bill myself.  when the time came to pass the bill to the landlord she said it’s not my responsibility to pay for this this is considered as a damage ( which is I believe not) and you are responsible for that! And she ignored the bill! Based on my previous experience with my other landlord which even one of them changed the whole dishwasher with the new one! Is she allowed to not paying that bill?!

Thanks
