Looking to expand my portfolio in Baton Rouge, LA

Down in the Baton Rouge area for storm restoration after Ida. Trying our best to get the power back on and as any investor been looking at properties.(Paid bird dogging I like to call it) This area hasn’t been one I have looked at in the past, but am liking what I’m seeing in some areas. Hoping to connect with people that are investing here and get some insight and possibly expand my portfolio in the area.

    Hey @Tyler Volk, welcome to the Baton Rouge area--thanks for coming over to help!  I'm an investor here in BR with 13 units. Ditto what Travis said above: it's a very stable cash flow market as long as you buy correctly, but there are some rougher areas that I personally avoid as well.
