Ways to offset EOY cap/gains?
I changed some positions and now my brokerage account is showing a $30,000 capital gain for this year, any way to offset this? Either through an opportunity fund investment or by accelerating depreciation on my 4 unit property? Otherwise looks like I will have to take a $4500 tax hit on the stock sale.
Thank you,
