Wood Frame Versus Block Myth

Wood Frame Versus Block Myth

After doing this for 20 years, I have learned that there's no distinction to the tenet. There are actually areas in Tampa where you get more appreciation for wood-frame. There are advantages and disadvantages of doing wood frame versus block. Some can argue that wood frame repairs are easier to do. Easier to go under the crawl space and fix most plumbing-related issues and or even electric matters. And at the end, even unblock homes, you can get termites because the roofs are made out of wood too. My conclusion is that as long as the foundation of a wood-frame home is in good shape, you will do better with wood, believe it or not. And the cherry on the cake is that you can get them cheaper than "block" most of the time.
