Rockport Condo on Canal - Bed Arrangements
Forgive me if this questions has been asked, I did search but couldn't find an answer directly related to our situation.
Preface -
My parents owns a lake house on Lake LBJ. The property has 6 bedrooms and can sleep 28 people in beds if you count 4 sleeper sofas. We have 4 sets of bunk beds with one of them being a Queen over Queen bunk bed. Have not heard of any complaints thus far and the lake house is a great source of additional income for my parents.
Today -
My wife and I decided to purchase a 2/2 Condo on a canal in Rockport, TX for our family of 6 to enjoy and double as our STR. We wanted to something much bigger but given this was our first location outside of my family estate we had to reduce the budget. Rockport is known for fishing, bird watching, and hunting. Condo is very close to Rockport beach, restaurants, and shopping. Fishing is virtually everywhere. I love the property because I can bring my boat and it was way below our max budget. :)
Master will have a king and the 2nd room is where the debate is... I want to be able to invite family or friends over sometime for some coastal fun, so in my mind we need to have available sleeping for up to 8 people (we are thinking of limiting to 6 guest for rentals unless preapproved). I want to put in a high end Queen over Queen bunk bed (https://adultbunkbeds.com/bunk...) and an additional Full/Queen bed to have enough sleeping space for the families that come down during the summer for beach activities. However, Considering that we are trying to cater to fisherman during the colder season, my wife wants to put 2 queen beds and not use a Queen over Queen bunk bed as she thinks it will take away from the attractiveness of the condo.
Anyone with any experience with this scenario?
