Return of security deposit

I need to return the deposit, the problem is I have five roommates. Had there been two I would have made the check to both but I have five and I cannot make a check payable to five people. The initial deposit was one bank check, the guy also gave me a w-9 so that I could open a landlord - tenant account. Any suggestions?
