Geez...that's like asking what do I need to know about construction, financing, valuation, municipal codes and permitting, Landlord/Tenant Laws, liability protection, marketing, tenant screening/lease contracts, running a business, market demographics/inventory/year-over-year appreciation/rent pricing - and a whole lot more.  This is a complex business; you can't get a book or podcast and then jump in.

What are you wanting to achieve?  What type of investing?  What skills do you already have?  Have you identified key resources yet?  Help us help you.  Otherwise, the answer to your question would be:  A whole lot of stuff.
