Advice for troubled tenant situation

John Dulaney
Posted

I have a current tenant, 1 yr, 8 months, that has currently fallen off his sobriety wagon.  He is hooked on Kratom and now his decisions are damaging my property.  He started filling the bathtub up with water and fell asleep and it overflowed and flooded the house.  He is claiming that the faucet is at fault for turning on by itself.  There are other interesting things he's done, but this is causing damage.  What can I do to protect my property in Texas?
