I have seen many ads from companies that offer tenant screening services. I often doubt them and how valid of a service they actually provide.

However, I am wondering if anyone has used one of these services and had success with screening out the bad tenants. If you have had success, then what service did you use? If you have had issues, then what did the service miss?
