Renting out a finished basement near Frederick, MD

Hi everyone, I'm planning to rent out our finished basement in New Market, MD (Frederick county). It'll come with a full bath, bedroom with egress window and a rec room/living area. However I'm not sure what this process will entail? in terms of drafting up a lease agreement or screening tenants. I'm not fully confident if it's going to be worth the inconvenience, but I definitely want to explore this cash flow path.
