what to do with foundation crack

I have a house that had problems with unruly roots which caused some plumbing blockages. As we're digging up to kill the roots, noticed there's a crawlspace foundation crack caused by the roots. I'm not an expert so what do you guys think is the best way to deal with this? Can I just seal or should I involve foundation repairs contractors?

Thank you all
