Does PM keep ALL keys to property?
I have a bit of an oddball question: what is the standard practice for who keeps a spare (emergency) key to a rental property? A property manager that I'm considering hiring claims that the owner should not retain a key because of potential liability issues. I'm not so comfortable with that because I feel that I should have emergency access to my property. What do you all think?
