Garage door damaged
I'm renting a house and noticed that my garage door won't close. After examining the problem I noticed that middle part sort of caved in. It looked like something hit it from the outside. This must had happened when I wasn't home. Am I responsible to fix the damage. I reported this to my landlord and he claims it's not a wear and tear. Pls help

Is this new damage? That is, it is something you recently noticed and its different than when you moved in? Or, could it have been there all along?
Do you have renters insurance? Its possible they might cover something like this. They may want a police report, though.
Unfortunately, the house is your responsibility. If you do nothing, the landlord may well deduct if from your security deposit when you leave. Getting someone to at least take a look at it shouldn't cost you more than $100. You might even get it fixed or at least working for that. If someone's actually driven into it, it may cost more. The person you get to look at it, though, might identify something that was already wrong and you could get the landlord to pay.
