new owner for multiplex property in rent controlled city
I am purchasing a property in Rent controlled city (SF) and like to find out the following from the community,
- - Can I put a hard request to vacate the tenants if they are on month-to-month? Can the seller show this as a reason to vacate them?
- - Can I increase the rent according to the market rate? It has a max of 1.9% for a year.
- - As a new owner, can I prepare a new lease with a market rate after the purchase?
