Lead paint in two unit apartment!

Amber Jones
Posted

My husband and I just purchased a two unit apartment on Friday. Then received information from tenant on Saturday that a child she babysits tested for high levels of lead. This was known by the previous property manager and nothing was done about it. We want to get a lawyer but I didn't know if anyone had any advice, because we don't know if we could be sued or the previous landlord. Please if anyone has any information let us know. We don't know what to do at this point. We are regretting this entire thing. Not worth the stress of people suing us.
