Can I Remove a Well Pump?

Hello all,

I currently have 2 well pumps on my property that I am looking to remove as they are eye sores. Our house is currently on city water and there is currently no use for them. This home will be a rental next year so I am trying to make the property more attractive by removing these well pumps. Can I just remove them? Or is this going to cause a massive flood in my yard. I really have no idea what I can or can't do with these. Thanks so much.

Frank
