Mitchell Walker
Posted

I'm currently looking at a home that isn't in flood zone butt from what the neighbors say it floods everyear cause of the low grade and where it was built. The previous property management group did not disclosure this with me.  Infact they suid the tenant for damages caused by the flooding and won cause they didn't show up. Should I deal with this property group at all. ur

@Mitchell Walker I am no lawyer and this should be a question for your attorney, if you proceed to go that route. However, I would say a Property could have issues with water and not be in a floodplain. It could be something simple as a natural swale that is running around your property. Perhaps you could have a landscape architect come by and do an inventory and analysis report.

Best of Luck!
