Corporate tenant for single family residential rental?

Spencer Freeman
Posted

Hello -

I just closed on my first investment property a couple of weeks ago, and I have been advertising it as a long-term rental (note, the property is in Nashville, TN). I received the message below, and I am unsure if there are any nuances with this type of lease/tenant that I need to be aware of prior to engaging with them. From what I can tell, the corporation that sent the inquiry below is a restaurant/bar that is located about one block from my rental property.

Any advice on how to structure a lease in this situation, as well as any legal implications with renting to a company/corporation would be appreciated!

Best,

Spencer
