When to start marketing my SFH for rent in Los Angeles?

Hey BP! I'm planning to rent out my SFH in the Los Angeles area just under 4 months from now. I'm mostly curious as to the "sweet spot" of when to make the listing public? It is a newly renovated 3 bed/3 bath in the Palos Verdes School District and the home will be available for rent in early August (about 2-3 weeks before this upcoming fall school start date).

Since it's likely a family would consider renting in this area, would posting the listing 3 months in advance of its available date be too soon? Any recommendations/suggestions on what has worked for others in the LA area?
