Best Book on Property Management - Finances

Anish Joseph
Posted

Hi, I'm a first time landlord. I have a 2/2 duplex and I'm trying to financially plan this year. From attending one of Brandon's webinars I'm aware that it's suggested that you set aside 5% of your rent for capital expenses, 5% for vacancy, 5% for maintenance, and 8-10% for management.

Are there any other resources I could use to plan my year? I love creating spreadsheets and I'm working on making one for myself. Just wondering if there are any guides out there that could help me think of things I wouldn't on my own being new.

Thanks!

Anish
