17 and want to prepare to get my first rental property

Hello my name is Tyson and I turn 18 in May. My main goal for when I am 18 is to obtain my first rental property and house hack. As of right now I work as a social media manager and saving every penny so I can use it as a down payment. I just want to be as prepared as possible and if there is anyone with any tips or suggestions, that would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi Tyson, welcome to BP! I recommend talking to some local lenders and they can help you figure out what price range you are able to buy, if you need to build credit, etc. Keep learning from BP resources and practice analyzing deals. Every deal analysis helps you gain more confidence which will only help you be ready to jump on the right opportunity. Good luck!
