First Rental Property

Hello, I close on my first rental property/duplex on Friday!! One of the tenants is a horrible hoarder and over the past 7 years he has destroyed the unit including windows, doors ect. After closing, I plan on giving the tenant notice so that I can rehab, raise rent and find a responsible tenant. What is the best way to give this tenant notice? ( Property is in IL) Should I hire an attorney to help with the process considering this being my first time kicking a tenant out? thank you!!
