How much maximum rent can you get from Section 8?

Sorry if this sounds like a noob question but I currently have 4 properties and one of my properties currently has a section 8 tenant who I inherited when I purchased the property. They are living in a 3/2 and her rent was way below the average rent so I put a request in to have her rent increased to a more fair rent ($1300). It was a pain in the *** getting a hold of someone but they approved my rental increase request

My only question is if section 8 would've paid more than what the average rent is in the area? If you look at the link below for Houston, they list a 3 bedroom at 101% for $1524. My zip code falls in the 101% category so could I have gotten more or do they cap it based on the average rent in the area?

Sorry for the long post!
