Calculating rental expense
I know a recommended goal is to clear $200/month after all expenses on a rental. My question is, do I count my increased mortgage payment as an “expense”?
I will do a cash out refi to cover the down payment on an investment property, so let’s say I pull $75k and my primary residence mortgage payment goes up by $350 per month. Should I expect my rental income to cover that as well?
