Not crazy good wisdom but wanted to share a cool little known tip my REI buddy shared with me.

If you shop at Home Depot on the same dates that a local Menards is having their famous 11% back rebate sale, you can get an 11% rebate for Home Depot too!

Just google “Home Depot 11% rebate” and

The HD rebate website should show up, from there you can enter your receipt info and within weeks you'll get a Home Depot gift card for 11% of your purchase in the mail! It's like REI Christmas all over again! My friend and I have gotten hundred$ back so far!
