Apartment Advertising Question

What's the most effective/efficient method for advertising apartments? Facebook? Zillow? ETC. Is there one source that will allow you to post on multiple social method platforms with one click of the mouse? Zillow now charges $9.00 per week to advertise an apartment. Is this new? Is there anyway to avoid paying this fee?
