Should I allow my tenants to have cats?

So I understand animals can be a big liability in a property, I'm fine with dogs but cat urine is something that I feel may be a big con to my property. Any Advice?

Pet rent, pet cleaning fee, and a pet deposit can mitigate the risks of having animals. My entire family from five generations have owned cats, and not one house we've occupied has been ruined by cat urine.

Good tenants will be responsible pet owners. But if you are afraid you may rent to irresponsible tenants, cats can do damage.

What few people seem to say is that children do ten times as much damage to a rental as pets, any day, all day, every time! Children draw on walls, dent walls, scratch floors, rip off cabinet doors, clog toilets, break garage doors, pee on carpet, and summon demons. Okay, I don't know about the demons, but children are so hard on property I'm shocked people worry about pets. Probably because we can't discriminate against human tenants but we can discriminate against animals.
