Does time frame of personal residence to rental increase rate?

My wife and I just bought our first primary place and I might have a job opportunity that will take me to another state. I'm thinking about turning it over to a management co and renting it out. Will that affect anything with the loan and the bank?? I know I have to up insurance but will it make the rate increase??
