Duplex, same side parking?

Hello everyone, wondering if anybody here is currently or has been in a similar situation in the past. Or if this is just one of those 'look for a problem and you'll find one' kind of things. Some more information; the duplex is a new build with no tenants so parking hasn't been established yet. The duplex was built basically all the way to one edge of the property line. So rather than being built in the center of the lot to provide each unit with its own individual parking/yard on each side there is only one common area/parking. The property is next to a major road and it's a corner lot, so street parking is possible but not optimal. I've attached some aerial screenshots of the parcel, thanks in advance. The duplex is sitting on the Southern most edge of the blue outline leaving the 'common/parking area' on the North end closest to the major road.
