COVID 19 and House Hacking
Hi BP,
In the last few monthsI have begun to set up my first House hack deal in Adair Park Atlanta. Currently, I have one tenant moving in at the end of the month and another prospective tenant being screened. However, with virus cases on the rise I have begun to get concerned about my liability as a land lord if one of the occupants gets sick. As a precaution I am considering hiring a cleaning service to do a monthly deep clean as a way to give some peace of mind. What has everyone else's experience been with shared rental spaces in a Covid world? Is there anything I should be putting into the lease to minimize liability, maybe some time of indemnification? Interested to hear your thoughts.
