Property Management Contract (Investor & Manager)
Hi! I am getting into STR management, and am working with an investor (not a professional investor, just a contact with expendable income who wants to invest) on our first place together.
They will put down the money / are currently pre-approved (we just made our first offer on a home), and I will manage the property (guests, listing, all management). We are trying to work out the details of splitting income (I know that 30% is typical for a management company - we are comfortable with 50/50 split since this is a joint venture, but would love any insights on ways this has worked for people in the past), and also a contract to keep things professional.
Does anyone have any example investor/management contracts or anything they'd be willing to share?? Or other posts on this forum where one exists? I've done some snooping but haven't found the right thing. Would love any insight!
