Rental Applications using Zillow

Hi all, for those that have used Zillow for rental applications, how was your experience with screening tenants? It seems like their application is pretty generic and does not let landlords enter specific criteria. I have a unit I am listing in Chicago, where the Just Housing Amendment was passed and requires specific disclosures to the applicant before performing any sort of background check. Are there any other screening/application platforms you'd recommend over Zillow even if the rental is listed on their site?

Hi @Griffin Abel!

Bigger Pockets has recommended companies under the Tools tab in Property Management that I'd recommend checking out! Some companies offer free forms as resources that are editable to your specific needs... it may be less of a headache to find a editable PDF form that you could send to the applicant or use the trusty paper application.

Also, BP offers tenant screening through a trusted partner in Tenant Screening under the Tools tab!

Hope you find what you are looking for!
