Painting A Rental Property
What are suggestions for paint colors for a rental property and why? I’ve heard that Gray is good because it absorbs a lot of scuffs. My fiancé is concerned that it’ll darken the place and make it look smaller so she wants to do white. I’m concerned if we do white that we’ll have to repaint a lot after the tenant moves out.

Agreeable grey is the most popular paint color sold now however I think it is too dark. I like accessible beige which is a grayish beige and get a lot of compliments to it. It hides some scuffs but not too dark. Color preferences change over time but grey is what is in for now so some variant is what I suggest. All white just reminds me of an office and doesn’t stand out plus depending on the current color of the walls may take several coats.
