Self showing for prospective tenants

Hi!

Just wanted to know if self-showings are the trend or popular way of showing rental properties now? Ex: Rently etc. I wanted to get your insight if you either use this method or know your property manager uses it? Any advice, insight, or success/failures from it?

I have spoken to a few property management companies - a few use lock boxes and do self-showings for tenants. These companies were referred, but I am still somewhat skeptical or hesitant on self-showings. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

@alexandra sales   WE have been self showing for 5 years.   600 plus properties.   Worst thing that has ever happened is someone left the door unlocked.   Use a service like Rently or Tenant Turner.   They gather info and generate a code.   If you just have one unit spend the money on Rently and get their box.  Super easy and much safer than showing up for some stranger to walk the house with you.
