Damaged Clothing in Broken Dryer
I had a broken dryer in a unit that caused some burning to clothes. Had the the dryer fixed which took about three weeks. After that was done, I told my tenants that I would credit their rent for money spent on laundry since it was out of use. They said their was damage to their clothes and would like to be reimbursed for that. I asked for an itemized list, which they sent and has 36 items on it two of which is bedding. Which means this is multiple loads. Some of the items are lululemon which say specifically not to dry. All in all the total is 1095$. I figure that I am responsible for some of the costs here but was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to handle this.
