NEED ADVICE: Evicting a Drug User
Here the story: Good Tenants are trying to leave because the Heroin user refuses to leave even though we gave a 30 day notice. She is technically on a year lease but we did not sign the lease. We've tried to be respectful but she is now attempting to force us to go to court for the eviction. Any advise on the best way to remove the bad egg? We were thinking of offering $1000 to have her go but not sure if that is the best strategy? Side note: tenants are in California so we know the courts are difficult to get through on these situations.
