Odd Layout...rent Or sell
Hello all I have been a member for a bit and have yet to do a deal. This is also my first post. I am considering renting out my home vs selling it. It has an odd layout which has been a problem in trying to sell before (we also have held to a high sales price). It is a 3/2 split ranch with the master, kitchen, dining room and living room upstairs and 2 bedrooms, living room, what was a 4th bedroom that I took out to add to the living area, laundry room and an office downstairs. My wife thinks that because the parents would be upstairs and the children would be downstairs that we would have a hard time finding a renter. I want to keep and rent and she wants to sell in this high market. I don’t know what to do and welcome any and all input. Thanks in advance

I grew up as a kid in a house with that style of split level layout. My over protective mother didn't seem to mind. Highly doubt that would be an issue for a majority of people. Don't bring it up when showing people and no one will probably notice.
