Tenants not able to pay rent

I have a tenant who missed last month and this month’s rents and another one who paid only partial rent for October.... both properties have mortgages... Do I need to inform those companies? Do I need to ask my tenants for proof of unemployment? Thanks for your comments.

No need to inform the lender. The debt service being paid has nothing to do with the tenants, you are the one on the note.
