Can I reject a potential tenant I already said yes to
I recently approved a tenant but still haven't received any of the cosigner information. He is also trying to get me agree to things that are not in the lease amd wants me to make addendums. I think he is going to he headache and I don't want to rent to him. Do I have a right to back out and how should I word it when speaking to him?

Notify him that since the terms aren't agreeable to him and you haven't received the required information in a timely way you will be looking for another tenant. Wish him luck in his search and say goodbye. Then don't take any more calls from him.
