Three times rent qualifier question.
Hi, I am currently listing a 3 bedroom, one bath home I own myself in the state of Kansas. I have all qualifications for potential tenants listed in ad such as 620 credit score needed, time at work one year or more, gross income 3x rent and no smokers.
Should I only require the total household income be 3x rent or each adult on the lease earn that much?
If only total household income 3x rent, then what happens if breadwinner leaves and unemployed stay? Thanks!
