Cat urine smell on carpet.

Has anyone had success getting cat pee smell out of carpet?

It only smells in a small area of the living room.

I tried shampooing and it still smells.

I'd replace an area of padding and clean more but I'm not sure if it is just a waste of my time.

The carpet is only 2 years old. Under the padding is VCT (vinyl composition tile) on a concrete slab.

@George Philbrook best product I have found is Anti Icky Poo which you can find on amazon. Works miracles.
