can I add a visitor to a lease?
I always get great advice from this thread and I am hoping you all can help me with this situation. I have a lease renewal coming up and my tenant informed me they have a friend who will be staying with them for about a month. I am not sure if this warrants the friend being added to the lease or not.
These tenants are wonderful and have been with us for 2 years.
Any thoughts or considerations I need to take into account?

It is great that they are telling you this and not just doing it, I might just do a quick addendum acknowledging it and restating that any damage etc is still tenant's responsibility and all lease terms still apply.
